1. Environmental and Social Impact Assessments/Audits

We support our clients to comply with National Environment Act, 2019 and its attendant Regulations including but not limited to Environment Assessments (EA), Environmental Audits and Environmental and Social Management Plans (ESMP), Resettlement Action Plan (RAP). We have experience in projects that require internal Safeguards Standards like for IFC, World Bank, African Development Bank among others. We have registered NEMA Practitioners that are registered as Team Leaders and Members.
We do Assessments and audits of all projects as long as their establishment, construction and operations bring environmental negative impacts to the environment and communities. The Social Assessment is also done in line with the social assessment framework led by Ministry of Gender, Labour & Social Development. We pay particular attention to gender and child protection, rights of vulnerable groups, employment, labour, community, effective community mobilization and engagement, occupational health and safety, toxicology.

2. Occupational Safety and Health Assessments / Audits, Training & Certification

We offer advisory and training services to clients who are faced with challenges of workplace safety and health low standards.
We carry out OSH Assessment/Audit; Training of Employees in various aspects of OSH like First Aid Services, Accident Investigation and Reporting; Fire Safety, Food and Water Safety, Transportation Safety, Machinery Safety/Guarding, Housekeeping, Industrial Hygiene Measurement, Emergency Preparedness and Response Systems, OSH Documentation and Communication, Safety Committees, Worker’s Compensation, Workplace Health Promotion Programmes like Physical Activity, Healthy Sleep, Alcoholism and Drug Abuse, Nutrition, Stress, Violence, HIV/AIDs among others.
We also assist our clients to comply with certification and examination of statutory plant and equipment, workplace registration and review of architectural drawings in line Occupational Safety and Health Act, No. 9 of 2006 and it attendant Regulations.

3. Environmental Restorations

Environmental restorations are quite unique in Africa; however of recent, restorations have been embedded in the legal frameworks of most African countries. M/s Albertine Investments Ltd therefore assists clients in ensuring the restoration assessments are done, costing and implementing the restoration. We assist in restoring wetlands, forestry, and other land resources.

Architectural and Structural Design

The Architecture and Building Services division of Almond Integral (U) Ltd is involved in numerous complex building projects cutting across commercial, leisure, institutional, and residential developments.

Road Design and Construction

Almond Integral (U) Ltd has strategically built competence and an understanding of the real issues in this sector. This competence spans over a five years of local regional involvement in feasibility studies, detailed engineering designs and construction and construction supervision, traffic studies for rural roads spread across the entire Ugandan countryside. Some of road works include Upgrading of Lot 3 roads in Busia County Government from Feeder road status to Asphalt Concrete, Rehabilitation of Community Access roads in Ochero Sub-County, Kaberamaido District, completion of Okapel-Abirabira and Odot- Ogobai roads in Kaberamaido District.

Building Design and Construction

Since its inception, the majority of the effort has gone into ensuring that Almond Integral (U) Ltd grows into one of highly respectable construction firms in the country. The company has a good team of professionals with a vast majority in the construction field and well as structural design which helps to form a complete package. The works that have been done include construction of markets in Mubende, Mukono, under the CAIIP, construction of classroom blocks in Kaberamaido, Mityana, Buikwe, Construction of Toilets in Buikwe, and Gomba Districts, Design and Construction of several private residences, and residential Apartments in Kampala and Wakiso District. Renovations of Sub-Counties in Kaberamaido District.

Water & Sanitation

Over the past five years Almond Integral (U) Ltd has built a brand name of excellence in conducting feasibility studies, detailed design and construction and construction supervision of water supply& sewerage systems, for water for agricultural production facilities for livestock watering, irrigation ,aquaculture and rural industry throughout the country. This has all been achieved with a competent and highly skilled team in the different specialties of water supply &sewerage, water resources and planning &management. Some of the projects include construction of ecological sanitation toilets, construction of VIP latrines and drainage work supervision.
